DESCRIPTION:

Reference maps show the location of the geographic areas for which census data are tabulated and disseminated. The maps display the boundaries, names and codes of standard geographic areas, as well as major cultural and physical features, such as roads, railroads, coastlines, rivers, and lakes.

The Reference Map Files are available for the following standard levels of geography:

  • National
  • Federal electoral districts
  • Census divisions & census subdivisions
  • Census metropolitan areas / census agglomerations
  • Census tracts
  • Urban areas
  • Dissemination areas
