DESCRIPTION:
Reference maps show the location of the geographic areas for which census data are tabulated and disseminated. The maps display the boundaries, names and codes of standard geographic areas, as well as major cultural and physical features, such as roads, railroads, coastlines, rivers, and lakes. The Reference Map Files are available for the following standard levels of geography: Census Catalogue - 2001, 2006. (Source: Statistics Canada 2002) MAPS:The 2001 maps are available in PDF format. The 2006 maps are currently only accessable via the Statistics Canada website - they will be added as they become available. In the TDR the following products are stored:
